Newcastle is partnering with National Sports data app. National Sports –which is a comprehensive professional sports data app in China – replaces FUN88 for the tournament following an agreement with the Magpies’ primary sponsor.

The app gives users a bespoke experience, using their preferences to provide comprehensive, diverse sports information and analysis of players and teams, as well as interactions with like-minded fans.

Dale Aitchison, head of commercial at Newcastle United, said: “We are pleased to be partnering the National Sports app and to be building on our appearance at the Premier League Asia Trophy by strengthening commercial relationships.

“National Sports is all about giving fans access to stats which bring the game to life, so it is a great fit to coincide with our matches in front of passionate Chinese supporters.”

The Magpies flew to China on Saturday and will face Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre on Wednesday (kick-off 6pm CST / 11am BST).

They will then travel to Shanghai, where they will play either Manchester City or West Ham United at the Hongkou Stadium on Saturday.

The Premier League Asia Trophy is being held in China for the first time in ten years, giving supporters a taste of Premier League football in two of the country’s major cities.
