The list of anti-inflammatory foods includes majorly vegan products like green vegetables, whole grains, plant-based proteins like beans and nuts. Besides, there are other things also constitute the list like fatty fish, spices and fresh herbs.

Lots of Veggies and Fruits: According to research, Vitamin K-rich leafy vegetables like spinach and kale are ideal food items to curb inflammation, broccoli, and cabbage also comes under the same category. Talking about fruits like cherries, raspberries and blackberries got their natural color from a specific pigment, the pigment that also helps to Fight Inflammation.

Try to have whole grains: This is the main reason why Brown bread and whole wheat bread are quite in-demand these days. According to nutrition experts, oatmeal, whole wheat bread, and brown rice are rich in fiber and fiber might also help in Inflammation.

Fatty acids from fish: Try to have it at least twice a week; fishes like Salmon, Tuna are affluent with Omega-3 fatty acids which are a great tool to fight inflammation. 

Beans: A great source of fiber, beans is also loaded with antioxidants and other essential anti-inflammatory entities.

Nuts: A source of healthy fats that also help to fight inflammation.

Herbs and Spices: Spices that we put in our recipes are not supposed to give flavor to the dishes but also they add anti-oxidants to them. Turmeric a common spice has a strong substance called curcumin that has a fighting power against inflammation. Besides, Garlic declines the body’s ability to make anything that boosts inflammation.

What is suggested not to have?

Any food items that are highly processed, quite oily and are super sweet are not some good food ideas if you have inflammation. 

  • Processed food like fried chicken and French fries
  • Foods with excess sugar
  • Processed Snack foods like chips and crackers
  • Too much Alcohol
  • Processed carbs majorly found in white pasta, white bread, and many baked food items
