La Liga giant, Barcelona and Quess East Bengal are discussing the possibility of joining hands. The chairman of Quess Corp, Ajit Isaac declared this in a statement on their official Facebook page.
This is not the first time East Bengal will be collaborating with a foreign club. Earlier, they had a tie-up with Leicester City of the Premier League. FC Barcelona’s sponsor Rakuten facilitated the meeting. Quess, a Bangalore-based company looks over East Bengal. The meeting between the senior officials of these two clubs was conducted at a Quess office in Bangalore.
In order to expand their market worldwide, Rakuten is enthusiastic about the prospect of Barcelona teaming up East Bengal. East Bengal executed similar role before where they had to build the profile of Leicester City in the South Asian market.
