OKX, a leading Web3 technology company, recently conducted a global guerrilla marketing campaign to promote its enhanced multi-year partnership with Manchester City Football Club. As part of the campaign, images of Manchester City players Erling Haaland, Jack Grealish, Ruben Dias, Deyna Castellanos, Alex Greenwood, and Yui Hasegawa were projected onto buildings in Istanbul and Rio de Janeiro on the night of June 30.

To make the experience accessible to fans worldwide, OKX utilized augmented reality technology and created a unique filter that showcased the players in a futuristic stadium. Through this immersive experience, fans could see the players wearing the 2023/24 Manchester City home kit with the OKX sleeve branding for the first time.

This campaign aimed to celebrate OKX’s new role as the Official Sleeve Partner of both the Manchester City men’s and women’s teams. By leveraging advanced technology and creative marketing tactics, OKX sought to engage fans globally and generate excitement around the partnership.

On June 30, OKX was announced as the Official Sleeve Partner for Manchester City’s men’s and women’s first teams in a new multi-year agreement. Additionally, OKX will appear across various digital and physical club assets.

The collaboration between OKX and Manchester City initially began in March 2022. It then expanded in July 2022, when OKX became the Club’s Official Training Kit Partner for the 2022/23 season.
