Today, Prime Minister interacted with various fitness influences including Milind Soman, Virat Kohli, Rujuta Diwekar, Swami Shivadhyanam Saraswati, Devendra Jhajharia, Mukul Kanitkar, and Afshan Ashiq in the Fit India Dialogue to celebrate the first anniversary of the Fit India Movement.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi described how everyone should focus on staying fit and healthy.

Fitness Ki Doze, Adha Ghanta Roz – every Indian should play some game or perform some fitness activity, whether it is Tennis, Badminton, Kabaddi – it has to be for half an hour. 

“The family that plays together stays together.”

PM Modi promotes the necessity to stay unitedly as a family and counted its benefits. 

PM Modi also emphasized the significance of mental health, stating that the contrary of ‘In a sound mind, is in a sound body’ again endure true.

He added that normally, our parents teach us all good habits, but for fitness, the trend has shifted a little. Youngsters are taking the front in supporting their parents to get a healthy and fit lifestyle.

PM Modi stated more people would join the Fit India Movement. The more ‘fit’ India becomes the more ‘hit’ India will become.
