Powerade, a sports energy drink from Coca-Cola will be endorsed by MS Dhoni. The India cricketer and global beverage giant will be consorting with three years.

The details of the deal of the deal is yet to be public but Economic Times reports approximately t5 corers have changed hands in this deal with Powerade.

Arun Pandey, who represents MS Dhoni has confirmed, “MS Dhoni has signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Coca-Cola’s Powerade. He has over 30 brand associations presently.”

In 2016, MS Dhoni’s association with Coca-Cola’s rival PepsiCo came to an end. This is the first time in three years one of the successful cricket captains of India linked with a soft drink company.

A 2018 celebrity brand evaluation report by global valuation and corporate finance advisory firm Duff and Phelps estimated Dhoni’s brand value at 26.9 million, 12th in terms of celebrity brand value and the only sportsman after Kohli in the top dozen.

Last year, MS Dhoni signed more than 10 endorsement deals including MasterCard, Bharat Matrimony, Dream11, Snickers chocolate, GoDaddy and NetMeds.
