Decathlon opens its biggest outlet in India

The French Sports goods Major brand Decathlon has gained a massive number of consumers in the recent years. The Sports goods brand Decathlon following such passionate response from the youth sports loving public, it  has expanded its presence in the national capital of India by launching its biggest store at the DLF Mall of India.

The new retail outlet stretches around 3000 square feet in the mall. It should be noted, Decathlon has already been operating 12 outlets in the National Capital Region, having 70 outlets as a whole in the country.

In order to augment its customers’ experience, Decathlon inculcates dedicated activity and community zones for fitness and sports enthusiasts. By making use of technological advancements, decathlon also relies on digital services including self-checkout counter scan and pay app for billing improving the customers’ buying experience.

Sylvain Deschamps, City Sports Leader, Decathlon Noida, Mall of India said, “The reason why people have loved the Decathlon experience is the high level of engagement and the involvement we provide to consumers before they actually buy our products. We have dedicated activity zones that engage the community around the stores to participate in daily games and fitness routines such as playing basketball, badminton, etc. It has been seen that offering such community zones helps people become more active and fitness conscious. Having dedicated space for fitness enthusiast and sports lovers, the store has also dedicated sections for men, women, children and teenagers under its roof.
