BBC and Wales and England Cricket Board struck a new deal. According to the new agreement, the network will air the final match  of a new competition called the Hundred.

In the July of 2022, 100 balls series will be introduced. Women’s cricket matches will be started to airing on 14th August. Men’s cricket will be shown the next day. A news report by Times reveals these details today.

The former broadcaster Sky TV till now held exclusive rights to telecast women’s cricket since 2006. BBC will also digitally cover the first-ever player draft for the new tournament, with build-up and reaction content to be developed.

In 1993, the world cup final between England and New Zealand was the last match BBC telecasted.
