In order to give interactive session to the budding golfers and golf enthusiast, by the next year Ace Golfer Tiger Woods will begin producing weekly golf instructional videos enabling fans to know about his life on the PGA TOUR as part of a new partnership with Discovery’s GOLFTV.
The terms a condition of the deal however have not been revealed in public. GOLFTV is the Brand name for Discovery’s on-demand video streaming service that will start streaming by the next year.
The sole objective of the deal with Woods is to give viewers a closer look into Woods’ practice routines, life on the tour and some instruction.
“I want to talk to golf fans and golfers everywhere, directly, and straight from me,” Woods said. “That’s important to me, talking about what we care about. What’s happening on the course, how to play better, how can I shoot lower scores tomorrow, how can I beat my friends?”
He added more expressing joy over the deal, “Getting the chance to do instruction is exciting,’ he said.
‘I’ve always been focused on my own game and this experience can help players everywhere. Whether you’re a long-time player or a beginner, there are some things that help us all playing better.’
‘If I can help the next generation enjoy the game more and play better, that’s pretty special.’
A live and on-demand video streaming service that will give golf fans access to 150 tournaments yearly, GOLFTV was announced to be created by the PGA TOUR and Pay TV Operator Discovery INC in October and is going to launch on January 1st next year.
In October, the PGA Tour and Pay tv Operator Discovery Inc announced the creation of GOLFTV, a live and on-demand video streaming service that will give golf fans access to 150 tournament yearly, when launches on January 1st.
The partnership deal with GOLFTV comes at an appropriate time in Woods’ Career, when he is making his grand come-back after being gone through several back surgeries.
