Rajathan Royal has appointed Lisa Sthalekar as an advisor of  Youth Cricket for its junior programs. Lisa has been the captain of Australia’s women’s cricket team.

Back in the October of 2018, Rajasthan Royals initiated its youth program- Royal Colts for boys and Royal Sparks for girls. Lisa was flown to Jaipur to be take part in facilitation ceremony of the selected young cricketers.

Lisa will assume the role of creating a year-round program for the Colts and Sparks, which will include high performance camps and competitions for the selected individuals. She will also organize school tournaments introduce many more aspiring cricketers to the game.

Speaking about her new role, Lisa Sthalekar commented, “Rajasthan Royals has done exceptional work in unearthing cricket talent. They have then been successful in providing these individuals with the right platform to grow.”

“I am delighted to be part of programs that are giving equal opportunities to talent across girls and boys, while also spreading the reach of game.

“I am extremely pleased to join Rajasthan Royals as an advisor. I am looking forward to my role of identifying and nurturing cricketing talent, especially the girls, so that they can make a mark for themselves in the cricketing world,” says the captain of world cup winning Australian team of 2013.
