In the wake to meet up fittest cricket team in the Country, J&K Cricket Association (JKCA) has signed former Indian team fitness trainer Sudarshan VP- a seasoned face from the corridor of fitness to train J&K Junior and Senior cricket players.

Starting with the shortlisting cricket players from both senior and junior cricket teams, The team India former trainer has undertaken a 10 days correction camp at Sher-i-Kashmir cricket Stadium.

Sudarshan was assisted by J&K cricket team assistant coach Milap Mewada along with Local physiotherapists and trainers over the course of camp in which  they have made  strategies for a long term fitness programme for the team.

At present, Sudarshan VP has signed one month contract with the State Cricket JKCA which will be divided into multiple stints.In his first training session, he has trained to the seniors and juniors cricketers who have played for the state.

JKCA, being a member of BCCI, has been representing the state of Jammu & Kashmir that undertakes cricket in the state.

The cricket association has been sending Jammu and Kashmir cricket Team in the Ranji Trophy. Sher-i-Kashmir Cricket stadium is the home ground of Jammu and Kashmir cricket where one day international matches were being played.
