Nearly every weekend, there’s a Jiu-Jitsu tournament taking place somewhere in the world. Athletes of all ages and backgrounds will pay to put their training to the test against fellow competitors from near and far, often in front of cheering friends, family, and teammates. Just like the Olympics, medals and podium positions are awarded to the top 3 finishers in each division. If a placing competitor happened to be wearing the Hypnotik brand, then there’s an extra payout coming thanks to a program called Podium Payday.
Last year, over 400 Hypnotik customers posted photos from the podium to Instagram with the hashtag #podiumpayday, earning them between $50-100 in store credit, depending on where they placed. Participants were also allowed enter multiple times per season.
“I know there’s a lot of hard work and sacrifice put in by these competitors,” said Mika Casey, Chief Executive Officer of MMA Warehouse LLC. “So if we can help them pay for their BJJ gi, shorts, and rash guard as a reward, I’m all for it. They’re out on the mats as our brand ambassadors. That’s why I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve just launched Podium Payday Season 2!”
The current season is now live for eligible products and competitions and will run through December 31st, 2019. More details on the newly launched season as well as a gallery of past winners can be found at https://www.hypnotik.com/pages/podium-payday.
