HONOR has launched HONOR Band 6 as the world’s first fitness tracker with a full-screen display. The sub-brand of HUAWEI has offered it in two variants – without NFC and with NFC. The design is unlike its predecessors and being considered as the mini version of the previously launched HONOR Watch ES.
The HONOR Band 6 comes with a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels and this fitness tracker comes with a 2.5D glass. It uses gesture navigation like on smartphones, so it does not come with a capacitive key. It offers a red-accented physical power button on the right side to wake up the screen and features HONOR branding on the left side.
The HONOR Band 6 comes in three color options: Meteorite Black, Seagull Grey, and Coral Powder, but the colors are only applicable for the strap as the body remains black in all three variants.
The fitness tracker supports ten sports modes, blood oxygen level monitoring, menstrual cycle monitoring, HUAWEI TruSeen™ 4.0 24-hour heart-rate monitoring, HUAWEI TruSleep™ sleep monitoring, and up to 14-day battery life. Moreover, the NFC variant also carries contactless payments and voice assistant.
Additionally, the internals of the fitness tracker has Bluetooth 5.0, accelerometer, optical heart rate sensor, gyroscope, and a 180mAh battery. The fitness tracker is water-resistant up to 5ATM and charges by a magnetic charger.
The model number is named ARG-B19 and measures 43 × 25.4 × 11.45mm in dimensions. The weight of the tracker is about 18g without the strap.
