The Delhi government has allowed the reopening of gyms with precautionary measures to prevent the widespread of the pandemic COVID-19.
Most gym owners and fitness enthusiasts in Delhi are happy with the recent commands that permit the reopening of gyms and yoga institutes, within the guidelines that mention how strictly these places require to maintain social distancing and other standard operating methods due to the Covid-19 situation.
Gym owners assume that the resumption of their businesses will assist them in paying their employees. Fitness enthusiasts are delighted that they’ll be able to return their workout routine, that had taken a pause because of the temporary closure of gyms.
Trainers have been urged to wear masks and gloves at all times, and sanitization stations have been established at all centers. They will follow basic cleaning and disinfecting protocols and will sanitize the centers on an hourly basis. There will be fewer people for each session in order to main social distancing.
There has been no revenue for the past six months, and gym members are assuming their memberships to be continued for the Covid-19 period.
After the orders came in late night on Sunday, not all gym in the Capital could reopen on Monday morning as many were busy making adjustments to ensure they run in compliance with the Covid-19 safety protocol. But some gym owners still believe the pressure of delay in the judgment to resume the gyms.
This judgment should have been taken three months back when salons were permitted to open across India. Gym owners made several representations to the government in the past four months, which were unheard.
