Working in accordance with the central government’s initiative of ‘Hum FIT TO INDIA FIT’ challenge seriously, the Delhi police sets to open four new state of the art gyms for the existing as well as new recruits in the department.
According to the Delhi police, which are known for their round the clock service irrespective of day or night, the police department is intended to buy and install only branded gym equipment for its 4 new police training colleges. In a bid to burst stress level of those dedicated police personnel who work round the clock, the department has come up with this adding 4 more gyms so that no police personnel miss out their fitness sessions.
The state of the art gyms will be equipped with all assortment of-gym machine fitness equipment including exercise cycles, a cross bar, Olympic bars and bench, assisted chin ups, pulley, a pig deck, dumbbells and chest press besides 12 -station multi-gym machine. All the four gyms will open at the training colleges at Jahroda kalan, Dwarka and Wazirabad for the purpose of training.
The Delhi police have invited online e-tenders only from the authorised Manufacturers and distributors of gym equipment from 4th of August. Deliberately, giving instruction over quality the department opt for branded machine which should be rust proof as well as firmly installed so that t avoid any unpleasant incident while working out.
