The Government of Andhra Pradesh state has inked a partnership deal with the former Indian cricket team coach and caption Anil Kumble owned Sports management firm TENVIC in order to promote sports culture in the state.
The State government of Andhra Pradesh has tied up a partnership deal with a sports management firm TENVIC owned by the former Indian captain Anil Kumble in order to promote Sports Culture in the state.
The governing body for the sports promotion in the state, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) has signed up with the sports management firm in order to achieve planned goals and objectives in a planned way. One of the major objectives of the tie-up is to inculcate physical education along with recreational, competitive and high performance sport to be devised simultaneously.
Sports coaching programs such as Sports coaching from Grassroots to Centre of Excellence are also being proposed under the new tie-up strategic methodologies.
The current sports coaching program has been designed across age-groups and skill levels in line with “AP State Sports Sunrise Model” which intends to improve participation of all children of the state.
Speaking on the association, Anil Kumble said: “TENVIC was started with the objective of identifying, nurturing and training talent at the grassroots level.
“This initiative by the govt of Andhra Pradesh and the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu touches upon all level of sports – from the grassroots to the center of excellence with additional focus on infrastructure development.
