After the release of the Khaali Peeli and Beyonce Sharma jayegi song controversy, Ishaan Khatter spoke about the fitness routine he followed to shape his body for his character in the film.

Starting from yoga to weight training and dance, he tried out different fitness routines to keep himself fit and healthy for the romantic action drama.

“He would work out for 12 to 14 hours a day for six days in a week, and sometimes all seven. I attempted barre work, gymnastics, yoga, and rope mallakhamb. I took it very sincerely. I definitely was 10 times more fit and healthy after completing it! I tried everything and was very sincere for my diet,” recalled Ishaan.

“It was the first time Ishaan joined weights as a routine and central part of his overall workout routine. It all begins and concludes with the mind,” he said.

According to the Dhadak actor, dance is the best way to burn calories.

“He tried different styles of dance. He started the day with basic ballet. According to Ishan, Dancing is pure joy. It’s always working to be the easiest way to burn calories, but dance is much more than fitness for him. Fitness is co-related but is, in a way, a different passion of mine,” he replied.

“Early on, he recognizes being outdoors a lot and playing games in society with other kids. At some point, he got more into sports. Dancing was always second nature and eventually turned into a major passion by the time he was a teenager,” Ishaan continued.
