The nutrition supplement industry pioneer Shaklee is happy to report that, through a subsidiary, it has bought nearly all of Modere’s operations. Modere’s rights to all trademarks, patents, and formulations for all of its products—including Liquid BioCell® Collagen and Trim, the two most well-known product lines in its portfolio—are included in the transaction.

Along with all associated inventory, including Liquid BioCell®, Trim, Burn, Sculpt, Curb, and the remainder of the Modere product line, the transaction also includes all of the testing and manufacturing equipment in Modere’s North American manufacturing facilities. The acquisition agreement includes the exclusive right to market Liquid BioCell® Collagen moving ahead. This means that Shaklee will be able to offer the same science-backed collagen solutions that consumers love, using the same formulae, under the reputable BioCell® name.

Roger Barnett, Chairman and CEO of Shaklee states, “we are thrilled to be able to make available the Liquid BioCell® Collagen and Trim products along with the other great Modere and Shaklee products to the hundreds of thousands of customers who have come to love these products. We are also excited to provide a home for the former Modere Social Marketers and become a place where they can share their passion for helping others live a healthier life for many decades to come.” 

All of these items will be sold on Shaklee.com and through the company’s network of ambassadors. Beginning on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025, Liquid BioCell® Collagen, Trim, Sculpt, Burn, and Curb will all be sold.
