Pant has risen through the ranks, after making his Test debut in 2018. He had a dream start to his Test career, hitting a hundred each in Australia and England in his first year in international cricket. However, he suffered a slump in form and his wicketkeeping skills at home came into question.

Pant won back his place in the Test side during India’s tour of Australia last year and has been a regular ever since. While he has shone with the bat, starring in the memorable Test series win Down Under, his wicketkeeping has improved leaps and bounds.

Let’s wait for him to delve deeper in the game so that his complete character comes out helping visitors to clinch the test series.
