Megaboxing in Partnership with Everlast and DLF Shopping Malls announce dates for the most awaited Professional boxing Show of the year.

Mega Boxing, India’s first non-league sporting IP, recently announced the dates for their upcoming events in March, April and May, in partnership with DLF Shopping Malls and Everlast. These boxing shows are meant to begin the process of amalgamation of Indian Professional Boxing with International Professional Boxing.

These one-day boxing shows would comprise of a pool of approximately 60 Indian and International boxers, who would compete with each other in an elimination style set of matches to reach the finale. The winners will go and fight in Vegas!

Mega Boxing would also be hosting International and Regional Title Fights in all its shows, which are recognised by the World Boxing Organisation, World Boxing Association, World Boxing Council and others top International bodies.

The currently scheduled events would take place on 29th March, 27th April, and 25th May in DLF Cyber Hub (Gurgaon), DLF Mall of India (Noida) and DLF Promenade (Vasant Kunj) respectively. Each event would be preceded by on-ground activities for two days prior to the main show.

Commenting on their upcoming Mega Boxing Show, Mr. Anirudh Pathak of Mega Boxing said, “Mega Boxing will give the Vegas style experience to the audience and a Sporting property like WWE, ONE CHAMPIONSHIP OR UFC which will be activated throughout the year. We are very excited and charged up for the upcoming shows. This would be the beginning of our year-long season, after our launch show at DLF Cyber Hub, Gurgaon in November last year.

He further added, “We are grateful to DLF & Everlast for showing faith in our vision and partnering with us to uplift our boxers and promote the sport. We sincerely hope that our endeavour to promote and empower our boxers belonging to different parts of the country, is successful and we can achieve our goal of elevating their careers and expand the audience’s interest in the Sport through our shows.”

The key highlight of Mega Boxing shows would be Vegas style boxing matches (male and female fights on the same fight night), a fashion show, music & entertainment and VR Games. In March you would witness 6 amazing fights – 4 Men & 2 Women.

Men (top two)

  1. Top Fight in Lightweight Category Rajesh Kumar (Luka) challenges the Rank 1 Thai Boxer in Lightweight Category.
  2. Vikas Singh vs Arjun meet again in the ring after showing a spectacular fight at the curtain raiser of Mega Boxing at the DLF Cyber Hub Show on 30th November 2018, in the Heavyweight Category.

Women

  1. Muskan Sharma (Chandigarh) vs Bianca Elmir (Australia) is a must watch as you see experience meet passion in the ring in the Super Banttamweight Category.
  2. Kirti (Rohtak) (India Rank 2) vs Urvashi Singh (Delhi) (India Rank 1) in the Bantamweight Category.
