Complementing the World’s largest statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel , the Statue of Unity, the Gujarat State government will now have the world’s largest cricket stadium in the world.
The Project which started three years before in 2015 after the demolishing 1982-built-stadium located on the bank of Sabarmati river across 50 acres of plot.
Sardar Patel Stadium or Motera stadium is going to surpass world’s largest stadium of the contemporary period Melbourne Cricket Ground in context stating accommodation and area square.
With the completion of this major project, the Gujarat based stadium can accommodate 110,000 persons in one go as compared to 100,024 capacity of Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Besides all these, Rupee 7000 Crore budget stadium is expected with 0.11 million seats parking lots for 3000 cars and 10,000 motorbikes apart from a clubhouse having 55 rooms is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
In a recent development story, Gujarat Cricket Association vice-president Parimal Nathwani has tweeted the latest updates with the images of the under construction stadium.

The authorities are also planning to create three practice grounds in the vicinity of the Stadium.
