Ahead of the major tournament in India and Sri Lanka, the International Cricket Council (ICC) established an effort that shows the development of women’s cricket.

The ICC has released the first “Will to Win” promotional film ahead of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.

As the general ticket sales window opens at Tickets.cricketworldcup.com, “Will To Win,” which illustrates the fundamental idea of tenacity and endurance leading to glory, is released.

Stars from every team competing in the Cricket World Cup are highlighted by the “Will To Win” campaign, including Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur of India, Chamari Athapaththu of Sri Lanka, Ellyse Perry of Australia, Marizanne Kapp of South Africa, Muneeba Ali of Pakistan, Nigar Sultana Joty of Bangladesh, Melie Kerr of New Zealand, and Nat Sciver-Brunt of England.

The film’s emotionally stirring story acknowledges these legends’ early aspirations and unrelenting struggle while simultaneously showcasing them in their current splendor.

“With the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup returning to India after 12 years, and given India’s leadership in championing the women’s game, the ‘Will to Win’ campaign has been thoughtfully crafted to reflect the remarkable spirit of women’s cricket through powerful, purpose-driven storytelling,” ICC Chairman Jay Shah stated.

“This campaign is not just a showcase of world-class talent; it is a tribute to the journeys, sacrifices, and aspirations that define the women’s game.”

“We believe it will resonate deeply with audiences across the globe and help further cement the enduring legacy of women’s cricket.”

We expect the 13th ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup to be a significant occasion in the sport’s history.

The tournament, which will take place at five locations in India and Sri Lanka, will start on September 30 with a match between co-hosts India and Sri Lanka.
