At the JLN Stadium here, the inaugural Fit India Carnival will be officially launched on March 16 in front of Hon. Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Smt. Raksha Khadse, and a number of notable visitors, including wellness expert Mickey Mehta, wrestler and fitness enthusiast Sangram Singh, and Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana.

The Khelo India Para Games, which will take place in the nation’s capital from March 20 to 27, will also utilize the occasion to reveal their mascot, emblem, and anthem.

Aiming to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle, the Fit India Carnival is a three-day fitness and wellness festival that will take place on March 16, 17, and 18. It is in line with the Fit India Movement’s objective of a nation free of obesity, healthier, and fitter people. The main visitors will also engage in spirited conversation and enjoyable physical challenges.

The highlights of the three days at the Fit India carnival will be a variety of sports, such as arm wrestling, cricket bowling, stationary cycling, rope skipping, squat and push-up challenges, and more. Also present will be physicians, dietitians, and psychologists from the Sports Authority of India National Centre of Sports Sciences and Research (NCSSR), who will offer free evaluations to carnival attendees.

Live DJ music, band performances, Kalaripayattu, Mallakhamb, and Gatka acts, together with cultural performances focused on the topic of “Fitness through Dance,” will all be featured during the three days of the event.
