MVP: The Mo Vaughn Podcast, a new weekly program that offers frank baseball discussions from the youth level to the major leagues, has been launched by Perfect Game, the biggest youth baseball and softball platform and scouting service in the world. The podcast, which is presented by Perfect Game, launches today and will be available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Play, and all other major podcast platforms with new episodes every Thursday at 5 a.m. ET. In addition to airing on PerfectGame.TV and the free PGTV app at 8 p.m. ET, episodes will make their debut on Mo Vaughn’s YouTube channel at noon ET.
MVP, which is hosted by Vaughn and ESPN Radio host Brendan Tobin, includes exclusive interviews with some of the biggest names in baseball, stories from Vaughn’s illustrious career, and lively conversations about the current of baseball. MLB Hall of Fame slugger David Ortiz, former MLB Commissioner Bud Selig, four-time MLB All-Star Rafael Palmeiro, two-time batting champion Nomar Garciaparra, and numerous others are on the list of scheduled visitors.
“Baseball has given me so much, and this show is a way to give back,” stated Vaughn. “Sharing stories, opinions and insight that fans can’t get anywhere else,” stated Vaughn. “Whether you love the majors, the minors or watching kids chase their dreams, there’s something here for you.”
The podcast combines Vaughn’s distinct viewpoint as a young coach, MLB veteran, and current Special Assistant to Ownership for Perfect Game. It was recorded inside the Vaughn Sports Academy in Boca Raton, Florida, where Vaughn trains the next generation of MLB talent. At Petco Park in San Diego, California, Vaughn recently served as a member of the coaching staff for Team West during the 2025 Perfect Game DICK’S All-American Classic.
